MacKerricher State Park

Greetings MacKerricher State Park friends and fans,

Much is happening and I hope at this point just to send out a note advising that December 1, MacKerricher volunteers are planning an organizing meeting at the Visitor Center. Please plan to join us as we are discussing the December 8 Volunteer Training at Town Hall, marine mammal programs at MacKerricher, and the whole schedule of upcoming events.

MacKerricher State Park educational and interpretive activities are supported by MAPA, our district park association. MAPA is organizing the first ever "Arts for the Parks" judged art show in Spring of 2008. Entries are now being accepted and we encourage all to help us spread the news on this great opportunity.

MacKerricher SP is the base of operations for the district interpreter, Fred Andrews. He is working on many projects all over the district but very busy preparing for the informative program planned for December 8 at Town Hall, 9AM to 1PM.
