MacKerricher State Park

Greetings Friends
We would like to welcome our new Park Hosts at the MacKerricher Visitor Center, Bob and Vicki Engels. Bob and Vicki hail from Carmichael. Stop by and say hi. They are open Thurs - Monday (at least, maybe more) and they are busy getting settled in to help us through the busy Summer season.
Rancher Natalie hopes to have more Whale Walks on the weekends in April -- we are seeing whales passing off shore regularly.
Volunteer Docent Fran Schwartz has volunteered to lead Whale Walks/Talks April 23 and April 30. These begin at the Visitor Center at 11AM. We are trying a new start time to make it easier for folks to come in from town.
We would like to thank our departing Park Hosts George and Carolyne for their great help this past six months. We hope they will be back at MacKerricher some day. I understand that they are staying in the area and park hosting at the Kearn Farmhouse at Point Cabrillo so you can visit them there!
School groups are already coming in to MacKerricher and any volunteer docents who would like to help with groups during the weeks should contact Ranger Natalie at nlohi@mcn.org
